"Filled with sweet illustrations, LOVING LULU is heartfelt family story of a young girl named Lulu and her Abuelita, her Puerto Rican grandmother. In their connection we see love, compassion, and dedication by Lulu to help Abuelita as she deals with aging and mental decline. But where there is love there is hope. Lulu's care for Abuelita comes through thoughtful patience and creative attention to help. It is this shared journey that we see the strong love that is family".
